Mr. McDonald is President of West Company of Midland, Inc. and has more than 32 years experience in the engineering and surveying fields. He has designed and supervised the design of site improvements for land development projects; supervised the surveying and design of multi-lane thoroughfares; supervised the surveying of thousands of miles of pipeline right-of-ways and fiber optics rights-of-way; design high volume storm water pump stations and their associated facilities; and supervised the construction surveying of numerous water lines, sanitary sewer lines and storm water lines. Some of his lifetime projects include:

Supervised the surveying and preparation of ALTA Land Title Surveys for 32 properties associated with the installation of 14-miles of electric transmission line serving the Post Wind Farm located in Scurry County, Texas.

Supervised the surveying and preparation of ALTA Land Title Surveys for 80+ properties for the construction of a 285 turbine Wind Project located in Nolan County, Texas.

Supervised the surveying and preparation of boundary survey plats on hundreds of properties located in numerous counties of West Texas. This included surveys of residential lots as well as acreage tracts.

Supervised the surveying and preparation of property plats and various permits for approximately 100 miles of fiber optic lines crossing five (5) counties in Central Texas.
Supervised the surveying and preparation of right-of-way documents for a 112-mile long pipeline for Kinder Morgan CO2 Company, L.P. located in Yoakum, Gaines, Dawson, Borden and Scurry Counties of Texas.

Supervised the surveying and preparation of right-of-way documents and permits on a 26-mile long pipeline for Equilon Pipeline Company crossing through a highly occupied portion of Midland and Ector Counties of Texas.

Supervised the construction staking for water lines, sanitary sewer lines, curb and gutter and lot corners in Green Tree North Sections 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 & 15, Meadowland Estates Section 2, Mockingbird Heights Sections 2 & 3, Briarwood Addition, Section 7, Crestgate Addition Sections 25, 26, 27, 28, 30 & 31, and Fairmont Park Addition Sections 19, 28, 29, 34 & 35, additions to the City of Midland, Midland County, Texas, and Westgate Plaza, Fleetwood Addition 2nd Filing and Crescent Park Addition, 2nd Filing, additions to the City of Odessa, Ector County, Texas.
